Walkthrough is good, but there are some little
things to do to get a better score.
In the gingerbread house: sometimes the witch is
home, just leave and go back in. When she's not
there, you can wait in the room where the note is.
She will come back, get points for pushing her
into the oven.
When you get the fiddle play it for the two people
in the house. I don't remember if you get points
for this, but they enjoy it. (Forget about the axe
in the stump, it's just there to make you wonder
why it's there)
Big mistake most people make: when getting the
mirror from the dragon, don't throw the knife at
him. Instead, cut the bucket off of the rope in
the well, fill it with water, and throw the water
at the dragon. More points, and you get to be a
nice guy.
Instead of guessing the gnome's name three times
and getting the key, he gives you magic beans if
you guess correctly. I don't remember what his
name is, but if I remember correctly, the
"something else that's turned around" is the
alphabet. I think you just flip the alphabet
around and spell Rumpelstiltskin backwards. Anyway,
plant the seeds three west, one north of the door
you would have unlocked with the key. (It's been
about 7 years since I have played this game, but I
think that's correct).
Fun game, the first adventure game I ever beat of
my own volition. Enjoy it, don't just play to beat
it.
