Remember to keep passing the ball! This makes it harder for the CPU to steal the ball. Some players have better 3 point accuracy than others. Find one with a high 3 point rating and bomb from deep behind the line. While on defense, push opponents (turbo + pass) on the floor, then release the turbo and swipe at the ball.
