WARNING!! BOSS SPOILERS BELOW! Ok, I've found the best ways to fight the bosses, try these for each boss. LIZBETH: This pretty ghoul slits your throat if she kills you, so be careful. She has an escort of skeleton warriors, so fighting her is a little difficult since the skeletons are always getting in your face. The best was to defeat her and the skeletons is to run away down the corridor, either left or right. Follow the corridor until you come upon a room with crates. This is the trick here. Lure the skeletons and Lizbeth to this room, jump behind the small crates, and duck behind the large crates when they throw rocks. They will NOT be able to hit you if you stand behind the small crates, just duck behind the large crate when they toss rocks. Since they can't hit you, the best way to kill everything is to use the Scythe. After you chop down a skeleton, use the Ressurrect spell and that destroys them, so they won't rise anymore to attack you. As for Lizbeth, she'll occasionally run up to you, hit her with the Scythe a few times, she'll run away into the larger room. All you have to do is jump on the small crate, shoot her a few times, and she'll come back. Repeat the above and cut her head off with the Scythe. AARON: Captain Hook here attacks you with chains and hooks, he's a weird one. The most straightforward way I beat him was to run up to him, slice him with the Scythe, and take a few steps back. If you run too far away, he hooks you with the chains. He's pretty easy to beat, just stick and move. AMBROSE: After you give him the stone, he morphs into one big dude, and he'll cut you in half if he kills you. Best way to beat him is to stay out of arms reach. If you run too far away, he jumps at you and hits you with a devastating attack, which will easily kill you if your health is low. Best was is to stay just out of striking distance so he doesn't jump. You'll also notice that a demon dog attacks him, this is your chance to inflict damage on him and kill him. DEMON DOG: You fight this creature down the road. It's trapped behind a magic barrier, use dispel magic to open it up. The best way to kill it is this, lure it either to the left or right barriers, and NOT the one in the middle. After you do that, just back away and it should remain next to the left/right barrier. Go to the middle barrier, keeping distance and don't let the dog see you. Use Dispel Magic on it and RUN. The dog should chase you. Run up the stairs and go right. You should be in the room with the lever on the ground. Run behind the lever, and back against the wall, wait for the dog to come. When he comes at you, run away past him and head toward the doorway out of the room. Now stand in FRONT of the lever, but a few steps back. The dog SHOULD try and attack you head on, but will get stuck on the lever. You can now kill it easily. BETHANY: This whacko summons creatures to fight for her. She also has two sorceresses that attack you with lightning, and charge Bethany with power. The key here is to FIRST take out the two sorceresses, and the easiest way is to use your spear weapon, charge it with the electricity spell, and shoot them. If the spell is high enough level, it will kill them with one shot. Then you can take on Bethany more easily. Keep that Scythe handy as usual. If she summons those huge demon heads, use the spear/lightning combo, it often takes them out with a single shot. FINAL BOSS- THE KING It took me a bit to figure out his weakness. First off, load up on the dynamite and Phoenix eggs, but do it FAST. If you stay too far from the King, these HUGE tentacles come out of the water and splat you, often killing you. Stay fairly close to the King to avoid the tentacles attacking, and NEVER try and go behind him, you'll die. Use your SHIELD spell, this helps a whole lot. Now, run at him, and start tossing dynamite in front of him, between 5 and 7 sticks should do the trick. You'll then find that he opens his mouth and tries to suck you in (which kills you). If you find yourself getting pulled in, just shoot him in the mouth with any weapon, that shuts him up temporarily. Now, the trick is to shoot him in the upper part of his body, namely his head which looks something like an cross between a plant and a frog (I guess). Use your SKULL spell to find out where exactly to hit him. If you find your mark, his head will snap back, take note. But for this to happen, first shoot him in the mouth, then the head, I'm pretty sure this is the sequence you have to follow. Now deliver the finishing blow with the Phoenix Egg weapon, shoot him in the head and your done. Congratulations!! Submitted by lordkor@lordkor.com |
