Hints for Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny, platform PS 2

Make sure you are always giving gifts to different characters in the game. If you give them enough gifts they will help you throughout the game. If you don't give them anything than they won't help you at all. Just keep going back to the gold mine and you will keep getting gold to buy more gifts. I was also stuck at one point at the Oni's secret Island. When you go into the room where you find the elevator repair book you will see the elevator, but you won't be able to go down.
